Into the Flow:
Staff & Flow Arts

Antonis Pasvantis

September 4th at 17:00

What happens when movement stops being a thought and becomes absolute presence? In the context of MadFest, we invite you to an experiential Flow Arts workshop with the staff as the central tool.

A seminar open to all levels. From people who hold a staff for the first time, to those who already have experience and want to evolve their relationship with the object.

The Discovery of the State of Flow
“Flow” is not just a technique; it is a mental and physical state where time slows down, the inner voice falls silent and focus becomes effortless. Through rhythmic repetition, balance and coordination, we discover the State of Flow: that moment when the body, the mind and the staff become one, turning the practice into pure creativity and play.

What we will explore in the Workshop:
Fundamental Principles & Spins: Introduction to the object, basic rotations, patterns and transitions.
Coordination & Balance: How we trust gravity and centrifugal force to create smooth movement.
Unlocking the Flow: Connectivity exercises to pass from individual figures to free, organic expression.

Goal of the Seminar:
To get a meaningful first taste of the world of Flow Arts, to feel the therapeutic energy of conscious movement and to leave with the tools to continue your own journey.

Level: Open to all (Beginner Friendly / All Levels)

Equipment: If you have your own staff bring it with you! There will also be available equipment for the needs of the seminar.

Come get into the rhythm and discover your own flow!
